Adding Your First Product
Ready to build your catalog? 💚 Adding products to Tovend allows customers to browse what you sell from one simple, shareable storefront.
Follow these steps to add your first product.
1. Open Your Merchant Dashboard
Log in to your Tovend account and navigate to the Products section of your dashboard.
2. Add a New Product
Select the option to add a new product. You’ll be able to enter the information customers need to know about the item you’re selling.
3. Upload Product Photos
Choose a clear, high-quality image of your product.
For the best results:
- Use bright, well-lit photos.
- Make sure the product is clearly visible.
- Use images that accurately represent the item you’re selling.
- Avoid blurry photos or distracting backgrounds.
Good product photos help customers understand what you’re offering before they contact you.
4. Enter Your Product Details
Fill in the available fields, such as:
- Product name: Give your product a clear, recognizable name.
- Price: Enter the correct selling price.
- Description: Explain important details, features, or benefits.
- Category: Choose the appropriate category if this option is available.
Keep your information accurate and easy to understand.
5. Save and Check Your Product
Save your product and check that its name, photo, price, and other details appear correctly.
If your dashboard includes product availability or visibility settings, make sure the product is available for customers to browse.
6. Share Your Storefront
Once your product is visible on your storefront, share your storefront link with customers on WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, or other channels where you sell.
Customers can browse your products and use the available ordering options to contact you through WhatsApp.
Tips for Managing Your Products
- Keep prices updated whenever they change.
- Use clear and consistent product photos.
- Write descriptions that answer common customer questions.
- Review your catalog regularly and update products that are no longer available.
- Add more products to give customers more options to explore.
